The Petrehn family has been flying balloons in the Greater Kansas City area since the late 1970's. Six of the eleven siblings followed in their father's footsteps and today, fly balloons for work, fun and competition.
Be assured when booking a flight with Balloon AD-Ventures you will be with the safest and most experienced pilots in the area.
Our flights take place at sunrise or approximately two hours prior to sunset any day that the winds are less than 10 mph and there are no storms in the area. Duration of the flight is between an hour and an hour and 15 minutes and is followed by a traditional ballooning ceremony. Allow about 3 hours from the time we meet until the time you return to your vehicle.
Flights take place in the southern area of Kansas City and in the scenic Louisburg, KS area. Flights in surrounding areas are available for additional travel fees.
